Dear Deeley Family, Our hearts go out to you in this very difficult time. Sending you strength and love. My Bob story happened in California! Janet Blumer and I went out to CA for an event. We stayed at our Marriott timeshare. After arriving we headed for the hot tub and when we got there, who was in the spa area, Bob. We had such fun just talking and laughing about the neighborhood . We then get on the plane to head back, and there was Bob on the plane. We told him he was stalking us! Rest In Peace, Bob. Sincerely, Deborah Dodson Craft

Dear Carolyn and Family, I was very sad to hear of Bob's passing. He will be missed dearly. As a friend of the family for many years I've experienced Bob's passion for cooking (awesome), fishing and golf. Derek and I went fishing in his honor on Monday. While we celebrate his life here on earth we also rejoice in his new life with our Lord Jesus Christ. Rest in peace Bob. Trent Porter Morristown, NY

Our most sincere sympathies to all of Clan Deeley on their deep loss. All of you were given a heavy burden to carry in recent times, but we have heard over here in Killarney frequently about how much grace and dignity you all displayed throughout. We have no doubt Bob is re-arranging the furniture in the Great Pub in the Sky, whilst sipping on a pint of Guinness and trying to perfect a recipe for brown bread pretzels (which we were going to develop and perfect and make a great fortune out of!!!). God grant eternal rest to his kind and gentle soul.

I worked with Bob years ago in development for Courtyard and he was a pleasure to work with. He took his work seriously, but his relationships even more seriously. He took personal interest in others and always had a good story to share. You will be missed.

Bob you will be greatly missed at camp leaves a avoid no one can fill. Always had a great time when you were up in the north country. At least my mother is there to look after you, don't get to close to the edge of the cloud you might fall off. Love you buddy!

Have known Deeli since our days at Ithaca College. When he saw me I was always "Jiggs" Never knew why but that's what he called me. A wonderful guy; only wish I could have seen more of him in the last 20 years, but John Vitolo always kept me updated. RIP my friend, You'll be hell on wheels in that great lacrosse game in the sky?

I had the good fortune to play a lot of golf and Euchre and drink some great wine with Bob. He will be greatly missed - especially his great wit and sense of humor. Bob consistently made me laugh as hard as I ever have. He had a great impact on all he touched and will be sorely missed. Here's to the "Deal" man. My best to the family in this difficult time.

I loved working with Bob and arguing about should we or shouldn't we do a site for a Courtyard, a Fairfield Inn or a Residence Inn. Courtyard Newark Airport was one of his best "inaccessible and built to stay that way"! We will miss you, but your legacy will live forever.

I met Bob the first time at Spawn On The Lawn years ago. He immediately welcomed me into the group as if I had always been a member. His laughter, sense of humor and pure enjoyment at living will always be remembered. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

Carolyn, my heart breaks for you and the girls. Please know that you are in my prayers. I won't be able to make it to the funeral so I had a shot for Bob yesterday and then brought out the fly rod and caught a few brim just for good measure. Take care.
