On Saturday morning, February 4, 2017, our beloved Dominic Dillet unexpectedly passed away, a beautiful life gone too soon. Dominic was the most selfless, hard-working, kind, and loving husband, father, uncle, brother, cousin, and friend. Dominic's gentle smile and hearty laughter made everyone who met him feel like they were family.  He was the guy that would give you the shirt off his back, never hesitating to help anyone.

Dominic leaves behind his wife Karin and two beautiful children, son Nicholas (15), and daughter Danielle (12) and two cats, Tux and Momo. He is survived by his parents, Agnes Dillet and Michael Dillet; his brother  Angelo and his wife Annell and their daughters Morgan, Madison, Makenzi; sister Page and her daughter Amelia; mother-in-law Marion Mistrik; brother-in-law Mark Mistrik and his wife Jessica; and aunts, uncles, cousins in the Bahamas, U.S., U.K., and Canada.

A native of the Bahamas, Dominic made the U.S. his home after marrying Karin in 1993. A devoted father and husband, he cared deeply for his family. Dominic was the sole provider for his family, which allowed Karin raise the children as a stay at home mother..

Dominic had many passions, including being the assistant baseball coach for several teams that his son Nicholas played for, including baseball teams with the City of Gaithersburg, GAC, MCLL (Montgomery County Little League), and UMAC. Dominic also helped coach his daughter Danielle‚Äôs soccer team when needed. A Master Mechanic at the Bethesda Sunoco, it was obvious how passionate he was about cars.  He had a knack for fixing things, and had an expert eye for making things work again. There wasn't anything that he hesitated to tackle, from household appliances, to jet skis, to classic cars. Dominic could do it all.
