Rosemarie M. Pal
Age 83, of Washington DC passed away on September 29, 2017, after a
brief illness. She was the daughter of
the late Dr. Ram Das Pal and Rosalind Pal.
She is survived by her sister, Valli Ponnamperuma, her brother, Ramsay

Univ. of Maryland. She retired from the
Washington College of Law (American Univ.) in 2012, after 28 productive years –
starting in 1979, with a hiatus for family needs.
Rosemarie was a true “Renaissance” lady whose interests and
hobbies were intellectual and wide-ranging.
They included classical music, gardening, folk dancing, family history, literature,
cake decorating, crossword puzzles, ceramics, animals, humor, and mystery
novels. She was generous to a multitude
of charities. She was a strong yet never

Ann’s, Tenley Circle, Washington DC.
We are devastated by the loss of Rosemarie and her kindness,
