DORIS PATRICIA BROWN

On Saturday, February 10,2018, Doris Patricia Brown of Washington, DC passed away.

 

She was predeceased by her parents, Frederick Brown Sr, Anna Genevieve Brown Benton, her brother Frederick Brown Jr, and her step-father Albion Benton Sr.

 

Doris worked for 32 yrs. in the federal courts.  6 yrs. for Judge David Tatel in the Court of Appeals and 25 yrs. Judge Gerhard Gesell in the District Court.

 

Guests will be received at Holy Trinity Church on Wednesday, February 21 from 9:30-10:30 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM. 

 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to HolyTrinity Social Justice Ministries, 3513 N Street NW, Washington, DC 20007; Perry School Community Services Center INC at 128 M Street NW, Suite #100, Washington, DC 20001; or a charity of your choice,

 

Internment will be at a later date in Massachusetts.
